Darrin is a proud member of Actors Equity Association and has worked as a professional actor, director, producer and educator for over 35 years with theatres all across the country including extensive work in Chicago and Portland, Oregon, and was recently seen on stage at Texas Shakespeare Festival, Actors Theatre of Indiana and at Beef & Boards Dinner Theatre in Indianapolis.  He recently completed a five-year tenure as Executive Director of Muncie Civic Theatre, during which time he also served as President of the Indiana Community Theatre League and Regional Representative to the American Association of Community Theatres as well as a five-year tenure as Managing Director of Historic Farmland USA, a National Main Street program, where he produced dinner theatre, concert and performance events as well as art shows and street festivals and lead historic preservation and economic development efforts for the rural Randolph County community of Farmland, Indiana.  He led an effort which saw Farmland recognized as one of the Top 10 Great American Main Street Communities by the National Trust for Historic Preservation and has been appointed by Lt. Governor Sue Elspermann to serve on the advisory board of the Indiana Main Street Program under the Office of Rural and Community Affairs.  He lives on his family’s homestead farm in Parker City, Indiana with his wife and two children.
